We have a growing list of songs for our "band" (i.e. whoever shows up at an event with an instrument) to play at our retreats, complete with cheat sheets and powerpoint. Check over the list. Listen to the songs (mostly youtube.com links). Suggest new songs. Think up and suggest combinations of songs to fit into sets. Be ready to sing. Face it - the "band" is everyone.

Don Vermilyea

Have you been following the "Walk Across America" of Don Vermilyea? His intention was to visit every Church of the Brethren congregation that extends an invitation with a message—that we must continue the work of Jesus: Peacefully, Simply, Together. After five years on the road, he's had to call it quits for now. Read more about his journey and the purpose behind it - which does not end.
