Hopefully this year will be the best~~!"

Carrie Spade
Carrie Spade is a pretty cool kid. You should probably meet her. She goes to
Grossnickle COB (Team Grossnickle UNITE!) and is a senior at Middletown High School (Don't hate the '08.) Carrie enjoys breaking into sporatic song and dancing in the rain, but her favorite pastime is meeting new people. So, seriously say hi to Carrie Spade. It'll make her day.

Jan Walker (advisor)
"I’m one of the advisors to have the pleasure to work with the Youth Cabinet and plan great events for all of you throughout our District!  I’m a member of the
Locust Grove Church of the Brethren in Mt. Airy, MD, where I enjoy working with the youth and playing the piano for the worship team and services.  My paying job is as a computer programmer/analyst and air pollution scientist with an environmental consulting firm in Baltimore, MD.  Besides the District Youth events, I also have enjoyed spending time with many of you at Shepherd’s Spring Youth Camp, where I have served as a Co-Director for quite a few years.  I hope to see and meet many of you at the District events the Cabinet had planned for this year."
Pete Haynes (advisor)
"The guy with the grey hair and balding spot above - that's me. It's been eight years that I've had the privilege of serving with Jan alongside some extra special youth. I just counted 42 of them (including this year's leadership) in those eight seasons. I gotta tell you, from my perspective working with these folks, the church is alive and well. I trust this year's crew is no exception! In my "other job," for the last 17 years I've been pastor of the
Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren. I have four children, ages 13 to 22, the oldest two in college. See you at the events we've planned!"
