You dwell in a cloud of fire, 
you are seated on the throne of sapphire,
surrounded by a choir of awesome beings:

You hold the universe in your hand, 
you make the clouds submissive chariots,
you command the wind to be your messenger: 
God of all creation......(Refrain)

You spoke from the burning bush, 
you kept the covenant with your people,
you led your children through the Red Sea:

Lord God of priests, kings, and prophets, 
temples of gold have been your dwelling, 
yet you make your home in our hearts:

To reconcile your people unto yourself, 
you sent your Son among us;

He accepted pain, death, and the grave;
