Note on Worship

The prayers, invitations, discoveries, and other worship words will be offered as the Spirit leads, involving various persons. Scriptures will be read responsively by various campers. The Prelude and Offertory will be played by youth on guitars and drums. They will also lead and accompany the songs. The microphone will be passed during the final sharing time for those who participated in church camp this summer to briefly tell something of their experience, if they feel so moved.

Peace Pilgrim's Prayer

Peace, be still and know that I am God,
Peace, be still and know that I am,
Peace, be still and know,
Peace, be still,
Peace, be,
Peace, Peace, Peace.

Text: Peace Pilgrim
Music: Shawn Kirchner

He’s my rock...

He’s my rock, my sword, my shield,
He’s the wheel in the middle of the wheel,
He’s the lily of the valley,
He’s the bright and shining star,
Makes no difference what you say
I’m gonna get on my knees and pray
and I’ll serve him til the day
that Jesus comes. Amen!                                        (hear the music)
