Dear friends,
has
Koinonia Partners considered putting Clarence Jordan's Cottenpatch Version on
the web, like the estate of J.B. Phillips has with his NT paraphrase?: <http://www.ccel.org/bible/phillips/JBPhillips.htm>.
I don't think it would cut down on income from book sales, but it would probably
give a wider audience to his thought and practice. Just a suggestion.

It's a wonderful
Idea. We don't however have any of it computerized, so we would need a volunteer
to enter it for us. Unless you know of another method. We are currently working
on getting Clarence Jordan's voice recordings mastered on CD-Rom. Thanks for the
suggestion,
Geoffrey Hennies Koinonia Volunteer

Geoffrey,
I'm putting out a plea on the below website (linked to other
preachers' sites) for volunteers to help get the CottonPatch Version into
digital form. Don't know if you'll get any takers, but can't hurt to try. If
many got involved, the work would be much lighter (sounds biblical to me). If
there were others, I might be able to contribute a share of the work. It would,
however, need coordination. Just so you see the plea (and the attached emails
between you and I):
