Pastoral Prayer

written closer to the time (if not at the moment)

Returning our Tithes and Offerings
(Psalm 31:14)

And the Psalmist sang, in the middle of all his troubles, "But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’" As you return your offering just now, weave these words into your giving. Repeat them over and over until they reside in your heart as an ongoing prayer: "But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’"
