Returning our Tithes and Offerings

We’ve just heard the Psalmist speak of "God’s hands." Now it’s time for us to put our own hands to work. First of all, make sure you sign and pass the attendance books in each pew. This indicates your own faithfulness in being present here and now, giving your time to worship and learn. In what other ways might you give your presence this week? In a moment, the ushers will pass the plates that your hands might offer some of your substance to the work of Christ’s church. You are invited to give as you are able. As you do, ponder what other ways you might give your substance this week. Amid it all, remember that God’s hands are involved. ...Ushers?
